Tropical story, andes mountains, coffee… two digital nomads spent four years living between the U.S., Costa Rica, Thailand, the U.K. and Spain… until one day Colombia called them back.
They knew nothing about coffee. They had never planted a tree. They were just two curious souls looking for purpose and nature.
And then, La Aguadita found them — a 7.7-hectare coffee farm in the green highlands of Nocaima, just 77 km from Bogotá, capital of Colombia.
A place that felt untouched, peaceful, authentic…
They moved in. They learned from local farmers, worked the land with their hands and failed… tried again, and slowly built something beautiful.
Today, the farm is in full production with:
7,000 specialty coffee trees with 6.500 being planted in Q1 2026
A professional wet mill, drying station and coffee processing plant
Water autonomy (3 natural springs + 30,000L reserve)
A specialty coffee cup score of 87.8 by SCA Qgraders
Infrastructure ready for living, hosting, or expanding
Starlink installed — live and work remotely
And more than 4 hectares available for growth (coffee or eco-lodging)
La Aguadita changed their lives, it grounded them, gave them community, peace, and a deeper understanding of Colombia, coffee and nature.
Now, it’s time to pass the torch.
They are dedicating the next chapter of their lives to a dog rescue foundation — and especially they want this farm to go to someone who will honor it, love it, and take it even further.
And don’t worry — you won’t be left alone. If you don’t know about coffee, or if you imagine they’ll hand over the keys and disappear… that’s not the case. They offer full technical support, guidance and guaranteed sales to ensure the farm reaches its highest potential.
