World famous Dundee golf course and Marina are only minutes away. Kayak Cape Breton is 3 kilometers from here. The historic town of Saint Peters,where the canal flows from the Atlantic into the mighty Bras d'Or Lake is 12 kilometers. We are about 40 minutes from Point Michaud(a world class beach) and about 40 minutes from Port Hawkesbury.
The lodge was built in 1989 as a hunting and fishing lodge for a Newfoundland native and popular comedian Jimmy Flynn. It was used for filming a show for Tales and Trails Magazine.
In 1997 a couple from Germany purchased the property and opened the Inn and Restaurant and called it the Diana Resort. The Inn had been closed since '02 and sitting empty when my husband and I ventured to Nova Scotia for a change of lifestyle.Come for a visit. Words cannot express the beauty.
