Situation
This lovely duplex is located in a hilltop complex overlooking the Mediterranean and the Medieval town of Peniscola and its port. This place is accessible by motorway or train. Nearest airport is Valencia and Barcelona Airport is only 2 hours away.
The condo is within minutes of beaches and tens of miles of walking trails along protected coastlines and small mountain ranges. The town of Peniscola is famous for its 13th century castle and old town. It also has an active fishing port. Beautiful white sand beaches along the main promenade offer great swimming and beach activity.
Other undevelopped beaches are to be found in rocky bays along the protected coast.
Day excursions can be made to Valencia to the south and Barcelona to the north. Within a 10 mile radius there are numerous picturesque villages and small towns as well as prehistoric sites of great interest. Peniscola celebrates many festivals during the year, the main one being the Moors and Christians festival in early September.
The Condo
This condo contains 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor with a small balcony, and on the first floor there is a large dining room and living room, a kitchen and powder room. The living room opens up on to a very large terrace partly covered with trellis. The view is magnificent.
The condo sleeps 5 people comfortably. There is also a pool in the complex. The condo is brightly decorated in blues and yellows, with typical Spanish furniture.
