The temperature varies from 14 to 23 C (58 to 74 F) - Mindo is considered the paradise for birdwathching. Near the house is the Mindo Nambillo Protected Forest. - This forest has more than 450 species of birds and 32 species approximately are endemic - Additionally, exist around 300 species of orchids, and approximately 39 species of hummingbirds.
