The 467-acre farm is certified by the Rainforest Alliance as one of the few coffee plantations in Latin American that produce in harmony with the environment and with respect for workers, wildlife and communities. A total area of 267 acres is cultivated with select coffee plants (mainly Caturra species). 155 acres are reserved as sanctuary for plants and animals. More than 12,000 precious wood trees and different native species were planted to ensure the conservation of this sanctuary. Three breathtaking water falls crown the property as one of the most unique you will find in this rich agricultural area.

In addition, the farm is also certified by Starbucks as a supplier of excellent coffee.

The plants are cultivated under ideal climate conditions (altitude: 900 to 1280 meters above sea level) and soil properties for the production of gourmet coffee of world quality. During the year 2002, this coffee was awarded in the first round of "The Cup of Excellence" 83.7 points and was clasified as gourmet coffee cup "BB".
