The surroundings:Brønnøya is an idyllic, traffic-free island in Oslo fjord. The island is situated only 20-minutes drive south-west of Oslo, and is connected to the mainland by a small manually-operated passenger ferry. Access to the properties on the island, some of which are holiday homes and some permanent residences, is provided by a network of tracks and footpaths. During the summer months a larger ferry also runs a regular service to the island from Sandvika 10 km to the west of Oslo, which is also the nearest train station. Oslo fjord offers good bathing, boating and fishing opportunities.This property offers a unique combination of nature and tranquility in close proximity to Norway’s capital city with its rich and varied cultural life.
