All of the services – electricity, water and sewage – to the main house and to the rest of the property have been replaced in the last three years.  The cabins are luxurious and blend the comforts of civilization with the ruggedness of living in the wilderness.  They are chalet design with pine half board facias, with windows and decks looking over the private Echo Lake on the Woodland Hills Property.  The 20’ x 20’ workshop is of log construction and contains the laundry facilities, with a shower and sink.  The 30’ x 40’ post and beam barn with half log siding was designed for horses and has been home in the past to horses, cattle and goats.  The area around Woodland Hills is rich in big game and migratory birds.  Woodland Hills is close to the southern boundary of Riding Mountain National Park, an area abundant with white-tailed deer, elk, moose and black bear.
