Pines Lake Resort & Cabañas, has recently gone through a full upscale renovation. The result brought the outside to the inside by opening windows with sliding doors to expansive terraces made with large cypress logs. Tourists travel to Villarrica-Pucón to take advantage of the Lake Region and the many Hot springs including everything from rustic pools dug up in the soil to modern, elegant and comfortable hot spring resorts and five-star spas. The area's main attraction is Villarrica National Park. For hiking or just contemplation, it is the smaller, Huerquehue National Park.
