NEWS about Albania: 1) An Arab Consortium, represented by investors from Dubai and Qatar plan to invest up to USD 1 billion to develop a tourist complex along the northern coastline in Albania. This investment will cover the construction of tourist premises, conference hall, aqua-marine park, tourism training centre and school of tourism. There will be additional infrastructure, including hotels, cinemas and recreation centres. The Albanian Government has guaranteed its support towards the investment.
2) Bankers Petroleum Limited, a Canadian firm plans to invest millions in Albania's oil sector. This promises to turn the country into an "upgraded oil exporter" source www.setimes.com
