Cottage with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen/dining room (with fridge and gas cookstove), bathroom and finished attic, plus a terrace with view of a pyramidal mountain sacred to the local indigenous peoples, on almost two acres of forested land. The cottage measures 16 meters by 5 meters. Additionally there is a guest house with two bedrooms and a living room; the guest house measures 9 meters by 6 meters. There is also a guardian's house with two rooms and adjacent kitchen, bathroom and shower. The property is fully fenced with an entrance gate and paths. It has a large water tank, telephone and electricity.

The property is located on the rural outskirts of the colonial small town of Lamas (population circa 12,000) in the province of San Martin on the eastern, green, tropical, piedmont of the Andes, to the northeast of Lima. One can walk to the center of Lamas in 20 minutes. Lamas is perched on a high hill (altitude about 2,800 feet) with a beautiful and healthful climate: never too hot, never too cold; no lowland diseases such as malaria or yellow fever. Lamas is easily accessible, a 20 minutes car ride from the city of Tarapoto where the airport is located. There are two daily one hour flights from Lima to Tarapoto.
