New Marina for Yachts up to 200’ - The newly expanded, multi-million dollar marina with floating concrete docks and an overall depth of 12 feet is open and accommodating yachts up to 200’. Included is a state-of-the-art, air conditioned Fish Cleaning House.
Customs and Immigration are available both at the marina and airport.
Currently, world-class fishing tournaments and special events are scheduled throughout the year.
New 20,000 Square-foot Clubhouse - The extraordinary new 20,000 square-foot, two-story, manor-style clubhouse is set to open in 2007. Xeriscape Landscaping - Much of the landscape design incorporates a xeriscape philosophy--the use of native plants and other drought–tolerant plants that can significantly reduce water use. One of the main priorities is to maintain the integrity and propagation of the island’s native plants and flowers.
Preservation - Only a small portion of the 950-acre island will be developed and renovated. Most of the land will remain a natural preserve for mangroves and wildlife that have evolved over time.
Luxury Villas: Preserving Fine Living - Finishing touches are now being put on the first set of luxury villas. With five different types of villas available, owners can easily choose a home that fits their personality and lifestyle needs. BENEFITS OF REGULAR MEMBERSHIP · Refundable Membership Deposit - 100% of the Membership Deposit actually paid for a membership will be refunded after resignation and reissuance of the membership. · Immediate Family Privileges - A member, his or her spouse and their unmarried children under the age of 24 who are living at home, attending school on a full time basis or in the US military are entitled to membership privileges without having to pay additional membership dues. · Club Facilities and Programs. A member and his or her Immediate Family shall have access to all the club facilities and programs offered on Chub Cay, plus other programs, such as free tickets to boat shows and access to fishing tournaments. · Resigned Memberships Reissued Prior to Membership Sellout. A resigned member does not have to wait until all new memberships in the club have been issued before the membership is reissued and he or she receives a refund. Every fourth membership issued will be a resigned membership from the waiting list. · Transferability of Memberships. Memberships are transferable through the Club to the subsequent purchaser of a member's residence or boat slip on Chub Cay or to a member's spouse, significant other or adult child. · No Assessments. Members are not subject to either operating or capital assessments. · Reduced Dues During Renovation. Members dues will be reduced to one half the regular amount during the time that the Club Facilities are under renovation. · Member Preference. Members shall receive a discount of 10% on the rental of lodging units or boat slips on Chub Cay and preferred reservations in the clubhouse, at the marina and for lodging units. · Club Access. Access and use of the private members .. only dub area including trophy room, dining room and bar. · Discounts.
