Acajatuba Jungle Lodge located approximately 32 miles away from Manaus, near the world’s largest complex of river islands, Anavilhanas Archipelago (over 400 islands). Total area of approximately 59 acres, 38 guest rooms distributed in 19 bungalows with private bathrooms and screened windows. The hotel structure (bungalows, bar, restaurant, reception and gift shop) is entirely rustic built with wood and covered with palm tree. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the river and the forest. Electricity is provided by generator, and water runs from natural springs. Two regional boats, 3 motorized canoes, and a separate island on the other side of the Acajatuba River with an area of approximately 62 acres. Employees’ accommodations also available. Acajatuba Jungle Lodge has been in business since 1989, 80% of clientele is European.
