Just 3 miles north of the quaint town of La Pintada, Panama, is a new real estate development called La Pintada Estates. La Pintada, in English means “the paintings” which describes the etchings on boulders carved by ancient indigenous inhabitants of the area.

In these areas, there are also three, eighteen hole, seventy-two par championship golf courses. Another nice beach, Juan Hombron is only 15 minutes from Penonome.
La Pintada Estates can be easily reached by the Pan American highway and two lane, paved roads in excellent condition in about 2 hours driving time from Panama City. There is also a small airport in Penonome for charter or private airplane flights.

La Pintada Estates is unique, because it is a large gated development of 415 acres, that will offer lot sizes of 2 acres or more for building a home on. The development will be ideal for gardening, small hobby farming, fruit tree growing and equestrian activities. Residents will have plenty of space due to the large lot sizes, but will also be part of a small community. Unlike other developments in Panama, the town of Penonome being close by will not give the residents the feeling of isolation. Being an easy 2 hour drive from Panama city without having to negotiate mountainous roads is a nice benefit also.
