The Chalet has two bedrooms, one with a superking size bed in the Loft bedroom, and the other, a double (full)bed in the smaller guest bedroom downstairs (next to the bathroom). There is a double spa bath (jacuzzi) under a bifold window which opens out to a canopy of nikau palms and giant tree ferns. The bathroom also has underfloor heating. There is a cozy lounge/dining area with satellite TV, stereo, and telephone and a well equiped kitchenette with an oven and cooktop stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, and all essentail kitchen utensils. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer. Extras include: down duvets, hairdryer, maps and books, internet connection, , bath robes, continental breakfast provisions for your first day and undercover parking right at the door.
Stroll to cafes, galleries or nearby hikings tracks. Opposite is a rainforest trail leading to Titirangi Beach, a tidal bay of the Manukau Harbour. Fifteen minutes by car takes you to Cornwallis or Kaitarakihi Beaches and a scenic drive for 30 minutes to the dramatic west coast beaches of Piha and KareKare (location of 'The Piano').
Titirangi Village, an artisitc community, is a perfect arrival or departure location within New Zealand because of its easy to get to proximity from or to Auckland Airport in an idyllic location not too far from the central city.
