Enjoy the privacy and independence of a two bedroom Caribbean home in Dominica. Hodgesview Cottage is built on a hillside overlooking the Hodges River Valley, with a stunning balcony view of the ocean to the east and the mountains to the west. The house was constructed in 2001 by a local contractor. Each of the two bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric fridge, gas stove, furniture, and utensils. The house is aproximately 900 sq ft and is on a 6140 sq. ft. lot. It is wired for 110V or 220V to accommodate North American or European appliances. The lot is landscaped with flowers and shrubs and provides for off road parking at the back door. Hodgesview Cottage is located on a private, dead end road so there is no through traffic. 

For your convenience there is a small clothes washer, Cablevision TV, DVD player, and free wireless high speed internet access. A security locker is provided to store your valuable documents. 

Hodges Beach is a short 10 minute walk and Pointe Baptiste Beach is 15 minutes walking time from the house. Many other beaches are within 10 minutes driving time from the house. Melville Hall Airport is approximately 15 minutes away. Bus transportation is available where the private road meets the public road.

The Village of Calibishie is a 10 minute walk. There you will find groceries, restaurants of a local and North American nature, Credit Union, churches, post office, and shops.
